Hot Tub Accessories

There's more to hot tubs than just chemicals and filters. Your hot tub experience can't be everything it can be without the right hot tub accessories. They can add to your enjoyment of your hot tub, make it much more comfortable, and help you relax and unwind whenever you enjoy your hot tub.

Lights

If you use your hot tub at night, you can add many different styles of lights for entertainment and enjoyment. Look for LED-type lights that change color, intensity, and brightness to put on a light show you won't believe. Many of these lights fit in your existing plain light socket, and they can change the entire effect of your hot tub. Other lights simply float in your spa, creating an underwater array of light and color that is beautiful to see. Some come in sets, others as a large, single light, but they'll really add a nice touch to your spa, day or night. Adding new lights to your spa is an inexpensive way to really change the way you experience your hot tub at night. Can't see your glass at night? Look for LED drink coasters, another answer to the nighttime hot tub experience.

Tables and Trays

Chances are, when you spend time in your spa, you'll want an ice cold beverage or even a snack by your side. Cup holders are fine for some items, but to really enjoy your hot tub, a table or tray is the way to keep your snacks handy all the time. There are several different types of trays that fit over the edge of your spa, giving you a lot more room for everything from a cup to a book. You can also find bigger tables that attach to the side of your spa, or are freestanding outside your spa. A good table is really just about a requirement for any spa, so choose one that works for you, is lightweight, and easy to clean, and you'll enjoy your hot tub even more.

Thermometers, Rubber Ducks, and Toys

No spa is complete without its resident rubber duck! You can find them in a variety of styles, from glow-in-the-dark to floating cup holders. If you're not into ducks, you can find a variety of other floating toys, from whales to fish, and they top off thermometers, too, which are necessary hot tub accessories for just about any hot tub without a digital display. The kids will love playing with the floating toys, so make sure you have enough for all the kids in the family. Look for realistic swimming fish toys, too, that look amazingly real as they swim through your spa. If you like to play games in your hot tub, look for floating game boards and waterproof playing cards for hours of family enjoyment.

Pillows, Seats, and Umbrellas

Face it, hot tub seats and backs can be hard on your anatomy. Luckily, there are pillows and booster seats that help with that problem. You can buy plastic booster seats that you fill with water for your kids, or to make your spa's seat more comfortable. Also, there are pillows that attach to the edge of your spa, for that afternoon hot tub nap. If you spend a lot of time in your hot tub, these are the perfect accessories to have on hand to make it even more comfortable, and they're a must for small children, too. Top it all off with a large, adjustable spa umbrella to keep you cool on even the hottest days, and your hot tub accessories have taken your spa experience to a new level of comfort and enjoyment.

So, find the right spa accessories for your hot tub, and take your hot tub experience to an entire new level of leisure enjoyment!

My favorite hot tub accessory is the pillow for your back! When I'm not resting up against the jets I love my blow up pillow!

One of my personal favourites is the clamp-on type of parasol/umbrella. Really works well to keep the midday sun off your back on toasty days.

If I may add, the other hot tub accessories that maybe you need to consider is hot tub gazebo or hot tub enclosures, if you use a hot tub in your backyard.
